Job summary

Accelerated People Management is seeking a Solar Electrician in Birmingham to install and commission Solar PV systems across domestic and commercial sites. The role includes installing battery storage, inverters, and performing testing and fault finding, with a focus on local projects in and around Birmingham.

The successful candidate will have NVQ Level 3 electrical installation and 18th Edition qualifications, with proven solar PV installation experience.

• Strong track record with electrical installations and fault finding.
• NVQ Level 3 and 18th Edition qualifications required.

Responsibilities

• Install and commission Solar PV systems on domestic/commercial sites.

• Complete predominantly local installations around Birmingham.

The company specialises in renewable technologies including Solar PV, Battery Storage and EV Charging across both domestic and commercial properties. Due to continued growth and increasing demand for their services, they are now looking for an experienced Solar Electrician to join their expanding team. As a Solar Electrician, your responsibilities will include:

• Installing and commissioning Solar PV systems across domestic and commercial properties


• Installing Battery Storage systems, inverters and associated electrical equipment


• Carrying out testing, fault finding, maintenance and remedial electrical works


• Completing predominantly local installations across Birmingham and the surrounding areas

The successful Solar Electrician should have:

• Previous electrical installation experience within domestic and commercial environments


• Proven Solar PV installation experience


• Relevant electrical qualifications including NVQ Level 3 and 18th Edition


• Wider experience with Battery Storage or other renewable technologies is advantageous
