Job summary

MDE Consultants Ltd is seeking an Electrical Installation Manager to lead field-based electrical teams across England, ensuring installation quality, health and safety standards, and timely project delivery.

Reporting to Head of Electrical, you will manage engineers, review plans, mentor staff, and coordinate with design engineers and project managers. This role offers £55k-£60k plus benefits and a company van.

Qualifications

Minimum 5 years' experience in commercial or industrial electrical installations.
Experience supervising electrical installation teams.
Commercial Solar PV experience is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

Managing Electrical Installation Engineers and Lead Engineers across multiple projects.
Carrying out technical inspections and QA checks.
Ensuring electrical installations comply with industry standards and regulations.
Mentoring engineers and supporting their development.
Working closely with Design Engineers, Project Managers and the wider Operations team.
Reviewing installation plans and resolving technical issues.
Managing materials, installation quality and project progress.
Ensuring compliance with health and safety procedures.
Producing progress reports and communicating with key stakeholders.
Driving a positive safety and quality culture across all projects.
