At New Business and Net Zero, our mission is to energise a greener, fairer future. The Solar Commercial Analyst plays a vital role by managing solar reporting, including management information and partner invoicing, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in line with contracts. This role provides insights into partner performance, supports process and proposition optimisation, and drives growth in the Partnership channel. The Analyst manages solar referral partners to ensure strong commercial performance and excellent service for partners and end customers.

About the role:

  • Collaborate with solar partners to gather KPIs and create a central reporting dashboard.
  • Utilise internal Salesforce systems to gather customer insights, performance data, and sales funnel information.
  • Manage ad hoc reporting and analysis requests from senior stakeholders.
  • Review partner reports to assess performance against SLAs and targets.
  • Analyze market information to identify trends impacting Solar & EV sectors, such as competitor offers, sales, installations, investments, and acquisitions.
  • Support data and insights updates for regular performance meetings (Weekly trading, Monthly MPR, etc.).
  • Assist in partner performance reviews and reporting.
  • Contribute to quarterly and annual partner financial planning processes.
  • Work with Partner management teams to review performance against forecasts.
  • Proactively recommend process improvements across reports and teams affecting the Solar P&L.
  • Support the development of business cases and testing of new offers.

Candidate requirements:

  • Advanced Excel skills are preferred.
  • Experience with Power BI, Salesforce reporting is desirable but not essential.
  • Interest in Decarbonisation Technology, Automotive, Energy, EV charging, and Solar sectors is advantageous.
  • Strong influencing and communication skills for effective cross-organizational operation.
  • Excellent partner performance management skills to influence and enhance commercial outcomes.
  • Highly numerate with attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
  • Experience working with diverse stakeholders.
  • Understanding of excellent customer service standards.
  • Ability to build key relationships quickly.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel for clear documentation and analysis.
  • Ability to perform under pressure and adapt to challenges.
  • Commitment to continuous learning and self-improvement.
