Job summary

Think Hire, the UK's premier off-grid Energy as a Service provider, is seeking a dedicated Electrician with strong solar PV and battery storage experience to join our fast-growing team. You will install, commission, maintain, and repair electrical systems to the highest safety and quality standards.

You will read schematics, test and inspect systems, and work both independently and as part of a team to ensure continuous, compliant operation across projects.

Qualifications

• Trade qualification as an electrician with full certification.
• Working knowledge of BS 7671 and 18th edition.
• Experience with solar PV and battery storage systems is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Installation, commissioning, and maintenance of solar PV and battery energy storage systems.
• Carrying out major and minor repairs on battery energy storage systems.
• Fault finding on extra-low voltage (ELV) and low-voltage (LV) systems.
• Reading and interpreting electrical schematics and technical drawings.
• Testing and inspection of electrical systems to ensure full compliance with BS 7671.
• Ensuring all equipment leaves the yard in excellent condition and to the highest standard.
