Earnz Property Services Limited is seeking a highly skilled Solar & Battery Storage Electrician to join our nationwide team. You will install, test, inspect and commission solar PV and battery storage systems, including EV charging, ensuring compliance with wiring regulations and MCS standards.

The role requires a strong electrical background, relevant qualifications, and the ability to work independently while delivering high-quality workmanship and excellent customer service across projects.

Qualifications

• 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS 7671) knowledge and compliance.
• Strong knowledge of MCS standards, regulations and compliance.
• Good understanding of electrical safety and testing procedures.
• Proven experience in electrical installations, preferably in renewable energy.
• Full UK driving licence and ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Install, connect and commission solar PV systems and battery storage.
• Carry out electrical inspection, testing and certification per BS 7671.
• Install and maintain EV charging equipment where required.
• Ensure installations comply with MCS, electrical regs and manufacturer specs.
• Diagnose faults and perform remedial work as needed.
• Complete installation documentation and test results accurately.
• Maintain health and safety across projects and liaise with customers and managers.
• Deliver high standards of workmanship and customer service.

About the Role

We are looking for a highly skilled and qualified Solar & Battery Storage Electrician to join our growing team.

The successful candidate will have a strong electrical background, with relevant qualifications and experience in solar PV installations, battery storage systems and EV charging installations.

You will be responsible for installing, testing, inspecting and commissioning electrical systems, ensuring all work complies with current wiring regulations, MCS requirements, relevant industry standards and health and safety legislation.

We are looking for a motivated, reliable and professional individual who takes pride in delivering high-quality workmanship and excellent customer service.

Essential Qualifications & Requirements

• 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS 7671).
• Recognised solar PV and battery storage qualifications.
• Electrical inspection and testing qualification: City & Guilds #removed#, #removed#, or the combined #removed# qualification.
• EV charging installation qualifications.
• Strong knowledge of MCS standards, regulations and compliance requirements.
• CSCS Gold Card or SSSTS card - one of these is required.
• Proven experience in electrical installations, ideally within the renewable energy sector.
• Good understanding of electrical safety, testing procedures and current wiring regulations.
• Ability to work independently, manage workloads and maintain high installation standards.
• Full UK driving licence.

Key Responsibilities
