Job Description:
  • Make up extraction solution by following the Standard Operating Procedures and dispense solution into extraction pots.
  • Scoop samples into individual extraction pots, ensuring high accuracy and attention to detail, especially when working with high-volume workload.
  • Place extraction pots into shaker machinery, then pour the contents into a filtration unit through filter paper.
  • Operate the Subsampling Unit to prepare samples for analysis.
  • Perform routine maintenance on equipment as required.
  • Assist with other preparation roles within the company based on workload demands.
  • Maintain a positive image of Cawood by keeping equipment and PPE clean and in good condition.
  • Respect and properly use company equipment, reporting any damages promptly.
  • Work collaboratively within the team, supporting morale and offering assistance as needed.
  • Follow Standard Operating Procedures diligently.
  • Prioritize safety by reporting accidents and near misses immediately, in line with company policies and accreditation standards.
  • Assist with onboarding and training of new employees to ensure a friendly and engaging environment.
