We are seeking a software developer with hands-on experience in React JS / Node JS.

In this role, you will:

• Work with your teammates to agreed timescales and standards; working closely with Business Analysts, Scrum Masters, and UX design.
• Develop new end-to-end dashboard features using Node.js and React.js.
• Translate designs and wireframes into high-quality code.
• Be part of a multi-disciplinary, agile product team designing and building dashboards using a modern technology stack with the ability to quickly pick up new technologies/paradigms and implement solutions across the full stack.
• Challenge code, design, and implementation to ensure they are of the highest quality, in line with HSBC and industry standards.
• Maintain and develop good, clear communications and relationships as appropriate with development team members and stakeholders.
• Engage in active collaboration with the product owner and senior stakeholders.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement best practices to enhance overall product efficiency.

To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements:

• Strong experience in the software industry with a focus on Node JS, React JS, and Automation.
• In-depth knowledge of programming languages, frameworks, utilities, and other technologies used by the team (React & Node JS).
• Thorough understanding of React.js and its core principles.
• Familiarity with working with RESTful APIs.
• Knowledge of modern authorization mechanisms, such as JSON Web Token.
• Experience with common front-end development tools such as Babel, Webpack, NPM, etc.
• Experience working in Git and continuous integration/deployment environments.
• Ability to effectively communicate with senior stakeholders, providing regular updates on product roadmap status and addressing concerns proactively.
• Implement rigorous quality assurance processes to guarantee the delivery of high-quality solutions that meet or exceed client expectations.
