Software Technology Testers Required

100% Remote - Global Technology Giant

Testers required in the UK, London Based Client

Our client is looking for a large number of Technology Testers and are considering both Contract and Permanent resources, with rates/salaries depending on experience, from 3 to 30 years.

The requirements are as follows:

Manual Testers / QA Analysts & Automation Testing

• Execute test cases manually.
• Focus on UI/UX, functionality, user stories, and regression.
• Tools: Excel, TestRail, Zephyr, Jira, Quality Center.
• Create and execute automated test scripts.
• Improve test coverage and speed up regression cycles.

Tools:

• UFT (Unified Functional Testing) – enterprise tool for functional/regression testing (VBScript).
• Selenium
• Cypress
• Appium
• Playwright, TestComplete, Ranorex, Robot Framework.

SDET Testing (Software Development Engineer in Test)

• Ideally a Developer-tester hybrid.
• Write testing frameworks and contribute to production code.
• Build integration and end-to-end automation pipelines.

Performance / Load Testing

• Simulate real-world load and stress on systems.
• Ensure system performance, scalability, and reliability.
• Tools: JMeter, LoadRunner, Gatling, Neoload.

Functional Testing

• Verify software functions as per business requirements.

Integration Testing

• Ensure different modules interact correctly.
• Test APIs, databases, and service flows.

Security Testing & Penetration Testing (Ethical Hacking)

• Simulate attacks to find vulnerabilities.
• Certifications like CEH, OSCP, CISSP are advantageous.

Vulnerability Testing

• Scan systems for vulnerabilities.
• Coordinate with SecOps and DevSecOps teams.

Security QA / Secure Code Testing

• Test from a secure coding perspective.
• Ensure compliance with standards like OWASP Top 10.

Test Management

• Oversee testing across teams and products.
• Manage stakeholder communication, budgets, vendors, and processes.
• Design testing strategies and frameworks.
• Advise on tools and automation scaling.

API Testing

• Validate REST/SOAP APIs for functionality, security, and reliability.
• Manual and automated testing with tools like Appium, XCUITest, TestFairy.

Data / ETL Testing

• Ensure data accuracy, transformation, and validation in pipelines.
• Use SQL, Informatica, Talend, SSIS, Snowflake.
• Test models for accuracy, bias, and ethics in AI.
