Job summary

SVGC limited is seeking a Test Lead to guide testing for software and data science products. You will champion a process‑driven approach and work with cross‑functional teams to define test strategies, timelines and quality benchmarks.

You will lead automated and manual testing, create test plans, track defects, and report progress. Hybrid work in Milton Keynes, SC clearance eligibility, and a strong emphasis on quality assurance are expected.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in software testing, including leading testing activities.
• Experience in Agile or Waterfall environments and in manual and automated testing.
• Familiarity with test management tools and producing test strategies, plans and reports.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of testing across multiple projects for software and data science products.
• Develop and maintain test strategies, plans, cases and schedules.
• Execute manual and automated test cases and track defects to resolution.
• Collaborate with developers, product owners, BA and PM to embed quality in SDLC/STLC.
• Produce regular quality metrics and test progress reports for management.
