Job summary

CMTG Group is seeking a Software Test Engineer to design, develop, and deliver robust testing solutions for our condition monitoring products. The role emphasizes analytical thinking, creative testing approaches, and collaboration with engineering teams to improve quality and reliability.

You will contribute to test planning, design, and execution while maintaining high standards for safety and environmental considerations in our industrial technology context.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of software testing lifecycle and methodologies.
• Experience designing test plans, cases and scripts.
• Familiarity with Agile development practices and CI/CD concepts.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deliver agile software test solutions for our condition monitoring products.
• Create and maintain manual and automated test cases across functional and non-functional areas.
• Set up and manage test environments, data, and supporting infra to enable effective testing.
• Identify issues, analyse root causes, and document defects with clear risk assessments and recommendations.
• Collaborate with engineering, customers, and suppliers to ensure testing aligns with product goals.
