Job summary

Cirrus Selection is seeking a Software Test Engineer to join a Simulation Software team in Stevenage, on-site. You will own the end-to-end testing lifecycle for simulation releases, coordinating planning, execution and formal qualification reporting in a demanding UK defence environment.

You should bring test automation experience, CI/CD knowledge, and strong data analysis skills; eligibility for SC clearance is required. AI test automation or emulator knowledge would be an advantage.

Qualifications

• Strong grounding in logs and data analysis.

We're looking for a Software Test Engineer to join a Simulation Software team in Stevenage. You'll own the end-to-end testing lifecycle for simulation software releases, working across planning, execution, and formal qualification reporting. This is serious work, for serious software, in one of the most demanding engineering environments in UK defence.

What you'll need:

• Test automation experience
• CI/CD pipeline knowledge (GitLab, JIRA, scripting)
• Solid grounding in logs and data analysis
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum
• Eligibility for SC clearance (British Citizenship)

AI test automation experience and simulation/emulator knowledge would make you stand out.
