Job summary

Palantir Technologies invites driven students to join their software engineering team, applying open-source data technologies to real-world problems. You will work on the data processing infrastructure that underpins Palantir Foundry, learning how computations are represented, planned, and executed across large-scale systems.

You will collaborate with experienced engineers, contribute to planning rules and native execution engines, and help make large tables faster to scan, while embracing

Qualifications

• Pursuing or recently completed degree in CS/Math/Software Eng/Physics or equivalent practical experience
• Proficiency in at least one listed language (Java, Rust, Scala, C++, or C)
• Strong foundations in algorithms, data structures, and concurrency
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Coursework or projects in databases, compilers, OS, or distributed systems
• Contributions to open-source projects
• Must be graduating in 2028, final internship before graduating

Responsibilities

• Work on data processing infrastructure underpinning Palantir Foundry
• Develop and optimise query plans, operators, and data read/write paths
• Collaborate across teams, learn, review code, test, and release with focus on correctness and performance
