Job summary

VirtueTech Recruitment Group is recruiting a Senior Software Solutions Architect for a technology consultancy focused on the banking and financial services sector in London. You will lead end-to-end software architecture, translate business needs into concrete designs, and guide client engagements through regulatory-compliant, scalable solutions.

Hybrid working in London with a mix of client-facing delivery, architecture leadership, and architectural governance to shape transformation programmes.

Qualifications

• Experience working with banking/financial services clients.
• Background in technology consultancy or client-facing technology delivery.
• Strong understanding of modern software architecture, APIs, distributed systems and cloud-based architectures.
• Experience leading proofs-of-concept (POCs) and shaping solutions.

Responsibilities

• Engage directly with banking/financial services clients to understand objectives and priorities.
• Develop end-to-end software solution architectures aligned with business requirements and regulatory obligations.
• Translate complex requirements into architecture diagrams, proposals and roadmaps.
• Define and lead proofs-of-concepts, prototypes, and technical spikes to validate solutions.
