Our client is a fast-growing consultancy within a larger organisation, delivering software-led transformation for clients across the UK public sector. With several new projects kicking off in their Central Government practice, they’re now looking for a Software Solution Architect to lead delivery teams and drive the design of cutting-edge digital solutions. This hire is part of a long-term growth strategy for their agile software division.

THE SOFTWARE SOLUTION ARCHITECT ROLE

As Software Solution Architect, you’ll take ownership of the technical direction and solution design across agile development projects in the Central Government space. You’ll lead architectural design, assess and refine client requirements, and produce high- and low-level technical documentation. This is a hands-on and client-facing role, combining technical leadership with consultancy.

SOFTWARE SOLUTION ARCHITECT ESSENTIAL SKILLS

• Proven experience in software architecture and high-level solution design
• Strong understanding of full-stack software delivery, DevOps, and Agile practices
• Skilled in cloud technologies (AWS, Azure) and cloud-native solution development
• Experience defining technical Statements of Requirements and operating models
• Ability to lead technical teams and engage with stakeholders or clients directly
