Software Quality Assurance Engineer, Connectivity India team

Role Requirements:

You should possess industry-leading technical abilities to significantly enhance product quality, including:

• Solid knowledge of Quality Assurance concepts
• Strong understanding of operating system software and object-oriented design principles
• Knowledge of 802.11 standards
• At least 5+ years of experience in wireless testing with BT / Zigbee Technologies
• Efforts in studying and designing new testing methodologies and techniques

Basic Qualifications:

• Experience in manual and automated testing with Bluetooth / Zigbee Technologies
• Hands-on experience with Bluetooth profiles and features (A2DP, AVRCP, MAP, HID, HFP)
• 5+ years as a Quality Assurance Engineer
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field
• 2+ years of automation development experience

Preferred Qualifications:

• Product experience with wireless consumer electronics
• Domain expertise in Bluetooth, Zigbee, MATTER, or THREAD Technologies
• Experience with Bluetooth and Zigbee / MATTER / THREAD certifications
• Proficiency in automation coding (Python, Java, C, C++) for Bluetooth and Zigbee systems
• Knowledge of industry-standard test automation tools and development of test harnesses
• Experience working closely with development and business teams

Key Job Responsibilities:

As a Software Quality Assurance Engineer, you will:

• Develop test plans and test cases
• Create automation test harnesses and automate tests using internal and open-source tools
• Identify, document, regress, and track bugs to resolution
• Interpret and report testing results, advocating for quality at every development phase
• Collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams to develop innovative consumer products
• Continuously seek better test solutions and propose process improvements
• Work efficiently in a collaborative, fast-paced environment

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

• 4+ years of quality assurance engineering experience
• Experience in manual and automation testing
• Scripting or coding experience
• Experience leading QA on medium to large projects

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience with automated test frameworks like Selenium or Appium
• Experience in creating detailed test plans and quality metrics
