Job Opportunity: Software QA Engineer (Aerospace) - Bristol

We are offering a super new opportunity in Bristol for a Software QA Engineer with specific aerospace expertise. The ideal candidate will have in-depth experience with the Aerospace Software Development Lifecycle, particularly DO-178C, and understand the importance of best practices at each stage of the lifecycle.

Suitable applicants should possess the following skills:

  1. Knowledge and experience of the full software development lifecycle
  2. Strong background in software development processes
  3. Knowledge of software engineering practices
  4. Awareness of software/product development frameworks

It is highly desirable for the candidate to have aerospace-specific expertise and knowledge of:

  1. DO-178C
  2. Experience with Software Development Frameworks such as CMMI and ASPICE
  3. Knowledge of safety software development standards: IEC 61508, ISO 26262, IEC 62304
  4. Awareness of cybersecurity standards: ISO 21434, ISO 27001
  5. Experience with tools like: DOORS, SVN, Azure DevOps
