Software Project Manager

Hybrid working - salary up to £60k plus excellent benefits package.

We are recruiting for a global Fintech Software company for a Software Project Manager role.

This role will be based 3 days per week in the offices in Horsham, with 2 days remote.

We are looking for a Software Project Manager to work on multiple client-facing projects for their Fintech applications. As a Software PM, you will oversee the successful execution of software projects from start to finish, managing several projects concurrently.

Main responsibilities:
  1. Project Initiation & Planning:
  • Collaborate with clients, colleagues, and stakeholders to discuss new projects and proposals.
  • Define project scope, set deadlines, and create project plans.
  • Assemble project teams and allocate roles.
  1. Project Execution:
  • Manage day-to-day project activities, ensuring projects stay on schedule.
  • Monitor project budgets and resource allocation.
  • Track milestones, KPIs, and project progress.
  • Lead meetings and provide updates to stakeholders.
Other tasks:
  • Work closely with the Quality department to test, assess, and evaluate project quality.
  • Identify and manage project risks.
  • Liaise with relevant stakeholders for changes and negotiations.
  • Ensure software quality standards are met.
  • Properly document project closure.
  • Implement lessons learned and best practices to improve future outcomes.

In summary, you will serve as the bridge between project vision and successful implementation, working closely with clients and your development team to ensure smooth collaboration, efficient resource utilization, and high-quality deliverables.
