Software Project Manager

Job Description

Cambridge – Project Manager – £65k-£75k – Hardware/Electronics

Platform Recruitment have partnered with a leading provider within the electronics and hardware industry. They are looking to recruit a Project Manager to join their team. You will manage multiple complex projects delivering business critical product solutions through to manufacturing handover, to demanding schedules and budgets, for mission critical customer applications.

Main Duties:

• Planning, managing, and leading multiple complex projects
• Managing regular project meetings, ensuring accountability of team members
• Ensure approaches/techniques are used for building high performing teams
• Ensuring personal and team adherence to defined project management processes
• Use control and monitoring measures for scope, schedule and cost, to track the effective delivery of projects through defined KPIs

Key Experience Required:

• At least 5 years of experience managing engineering projects
• Experienced in project managing embedded software development on an electronics platform
• Agile/Jira methodology knowledge
• Good knowledge of software development lifecycles, tools and practices

Salary/Location:

• The salary for this position is £65k-£75k, depending on experience
• This role is full-time, based in Cambridge
