Job description

Nothing exists to make tech feel exciting again.

We’re building a different kind of company, one that puts design, emotion, and human creativity at the heart of everything we do. From the way our products look to how they sound, feel, and function, we care about the details that make technology not just useful, but inspiring.

This is a place for the curious. The creators. The ones who ask why not and mean it. If you're drawn to bold ideas, fast moves, and work that actually makes you feel something, you’ll fit right in.

We're not here to follow the rules. We're here to make better ones.

About Nothing

Founded in London in 2020, Nothing is a design-led tech company building an alternative to the industry giants. Our products – from award-winning smartphones to expressive audio and wearables – blend iconic design with intuitive engineering to put people and creativity back at the centre of consumer tech.

Backed by GV (Google Ventures), EQT Ventures, C Ventures, and influential investors like Tony Fadell (iPod), Casey Neistat, and Kevin Lin (Twitch), we’ve grown from startup to global challenger in just a few years.

The Role:

Do you want to be at the forefront of operating system and app software development for one of the most striking brands to hit the consumer tech space in the last 10 years? At Nothing, we're pushing the boundaries of innovation and redefining the future of technology. We're looking for a dynamic Software Marketing Manager to join our team and play a pivotal role in shaping the way the world experiences mobile technology. If you're personally passionate about driving groundbreaking software initiatives and want to be part of something truly revolutionary, this is the perfect opportunity for you!

Responsibilities:

  • Strategy Development: Collaborate with the Head of Smartphone Marketing to develop and implement software marketing strategies that align with the company’s overall goals and the smartphone product roadmap.
  • Campaign Management: Lead the development and execution of marketing campaigns for software products and features, ensuring they align with product launches and smartphone promotions.
  • Market Research & Analysis: Conduct market research to identify customer needs, trends, and competitors. Use insights to guide marketing initiatives and optimise campaign performance.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with product managers, developers, and designers to ensure software features are effectively communicated to the target audience. Coordinate with sales teams to align on product messaging and positioning.
  • Content Creation: Oversee the creation of compelling marketing content, including website copy, email campaigns, product videos, blog posts, and social media content that promotes software products.
  • Performance Tracking: Monitor, analyze, and report on the performance of software marketing campaigns. Provide recommendations to improve effectiveness and ROI.
  • Customer Engagement: Build and maintain relationships with customers, fostering engagement and driving product adoption and retention through targeted marketing programs.
  • Brand Advocacy: Champion the brand voice and ensure consistent messaging across all marketing touchpoints, particularly for software-related initiatives.
  • Identify areas for improvement.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field.
  • Proven track record of creating and executing successful marketing campaigns.
  • Strong analytical skills, with experience using data to drive decisions and improve marketing performance.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams and stakeholders.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple campaigns and initiatives simultaneously.
  • Experience with digital marketing channels (SEO, SEM, social media, email marketing, etc.) to understand how to work with functional teams across the business.
  • Knowledge of the smartphone ecosystem and trends in mobile software is a plus.
