Software License and Digital Asset Manager

Croydon Digital Services (CDS)

Reports to: Digital Spend Control Manager

In CDS, we are recruiting for a License and Asset Manager on a permanent and full-time basis.

As Software Licence and Digital Asset Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the software licence portfolio of the whole council and the lifecycle of all IT assets including hardware, software, and related components.

You will ensure compliance with software licencing agreements, optimise software licence usage, and develop strategies to minimise costs while maximising the value derived from software investments. You will develop and implement strategies for efficient asset procurement, deployment, tracking and retirement, working with appropriate internal teams as necessary. You will liaise with and manage 3rd party suppliers in the asset management of hardware, devices and software licences.
