Location: Southampton, United Kingdom (Remote)

Are you a passionate Software Engineering Lead with a vision for innovation and the hands-on skills to back it up? Working for a dynamic global group, as the Software Engineering Manager, you will help shape the future of our client's flagship product.

This role combines technical leadership, hands-on coding, product direction, and team mentoring in a strategic and execution-focused position.

What You’ll Do:

1. Lead the architecture, design, and development of cutting-edge .NET-based software products.
2. Drive the technical strategy and collaborate with cross-functional teams to evolve our platform.
3. Guide and mentor a talented team of developers, inspiring growth, curiosity, and innovation.
4. Champion best practices: define and enforce clean code standards, robust testing, and scalable architecture.
5. Identify, evaluate, and implement emerging tools, frameworks, and AI-driven development technologies.
6. Leverage AI tools for code generation, testing, and productivity acceleration.
7. Ensure the delivery of high-quality features on time.

Experience:

1. Experience in a startup or SME environment.
2. 7+ years in software development, with 2+ years in leadership or a senior technical role.
3. Proven experience in .NET Core, C#, ASP.NET, and related Microsoft technologies.
4. Deep understanding of software design principles and architectural patterns.
5. Experience in SaaS or enterprise application development.
6. Passion for AI-driven development and a growth mindset.
