Job summary

G-Research London offers a 12-week Summer Internship for software engineers within our technology teams. You will write production-level code, work across platforms that support quantitative research and collaborate with experienced engineers from day one.

The role includes a structured onboarding, dedicated mentorship, and access to internal courses to deepen your financial domain knowledge.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a 2:1 or above in Computer Science or a closely related discipline.
• Graduating in 2028 and currently in their penultimate year.
• Experience in at least one object-oriented language, such as C#, Java or C++.

Responsibilities

• Designing and delivering high-quality, maintainable code to work with large and complex datasets.
• Supporting and evolving production platforms and research tools.
• Partnering with quantitative researchers to understand and improve data quality and value.
• Developing and optimising database queries and the underlying infrastructure.
• Enhancing internal tools and data processing pipelines used at scale.

As an intern you will work across a range of platforms that support our quantitative research.
