Job summary

Akeneo is hiring a Software Engineer to join the SDM team, building the data manager for the Akeneo Product Cloud. You’ll ship end-to-end features across back-end pipelines and the TypeScript/React front end, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable data solutions.

You’ll learn to work with large supplier catalogs, applying AI-assisted extraction and classification, and grow towards senior leadership through code reviews and mentorship.

Qualifications

• Strong fundamentals in data structures and algorithms.
• Experience with end-to-end software development.
• Ability to reason about system design and reliability.
• Proficiency in Python or JavaScript/TypeScript.

Responsibilities

• Ship features end-to-end across back-end data processing and front-end UI.
• Improve data-processing pipelines handling large supplier data sets.
• Ensure reliability and scale, with production monitoring.
• Grow into a senior engineer through code review and pairing.
• Engage in customer discovery to understand needs and feedback.
• Collaborate with adjacent teams to fit the wider Product Cloud.
