REMOTE WORKING - UK HOURS

6 MONTH CONTRACT + EXTENSIONS

DAY RATES UP TO $525 DEPENDENT ON EXPERIENCE (US CLIENT - PAY WILL BE MADE IN USD)

Our client is a global blockchain research and development organization working on large-scale projects. They are seeking an experienced Software Engineer with expertise in RUST.

Duties

1. Follow agile software development practices
2. Collaborate with teams across multiple time zones
3. Work independently on software development tasks
4. Review specifications and contribute to algorithm design
5. Write clean, efficient code and comprehensive tests
6. Participate in code reviews and fix bugs
7. Assist in deploying, troubleshooting, and upgrading software
8. Document code and APIs clearly
9. Break down tasks into manageable sub-tasks
10. Adhere to software engineering principles

Education / Experience

1. Minimum 5 years of development experience
2. Experience with Git and Agile methods
3. Knowledge of functional and object-oriented programming
4. Degree in Computer Science desirable but not essential

Specialist Skills

1. Strong experience with Rust and system programming
2. Experience with web services, RESTful APIs, and distributed systems
3. Proficiency in software development best practices
