Software Engineer - Reporting / Data Transformation System

About the Role:

A well-backed and established fintech startup is looking to hire an SWE with experience working on reporting / data transformation systems to join its team inLondon or an EDT time zone.

Responsibilities may include:

• Design, develop, and maintain a business-critical system to generate reports with a strong focus on performance and reliability.
• Develop an understanding of business operations and communicate effectively with other teams and stakeholders.

Requirements:

MUST HAVE:

• Prior commercial experience building reporting/data transformation systems.
• Strong Python, Pandas, and SQL proficiency.
• Experience leveraging monitoring tools like Datadog, Grafana, Prometheus, etc.
• Familiarity with database tools such as Snowflake / PostgreSQL.
• Located in London or Easter Time Zone (EDT).
• Excellent communication skills.

Nice to have:

• Experience with parallel computing.
• Commercial experience working at a trading firm.
• Familiarity with large-scale event processing systems.
• Prior experience working at a tech startup.
