What you'll do

• Develop, maintain and improve high-quality mobile applications using React Native and TypeScript, following engineering, security and regulatory standards
• Collaborate with engineers, product managers and designers to deliver valuable new features and enhancements for our clients
• Contribute to the development of reliable, scalable and maintainable solutions across the application lifecycle
• Integrate mobile applications with backend services and APIs to deliver seamless user experiences
• Write clean, well-tested and secure code, actively participating in code reviews and engineering best practices
• Develop automated tests and contribute to quality engineering practices throughout the software development lifecycle
• Support and improve existing applications, troubleshooting issues and helping ensure excellent performance and reliability
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes that enable efficient software delivery
• Document solutions and technical decisions in line with team standards
• Actively participate in technical discussions, knowledge-sharing activities and communities of practice
• Continuously develop your technical and interpersonal skills while contributing to a collaborative and supportive team culture
• Experience building and maintaining mobile applications in a production environment
• Good understanding of software engineering principles, design patterns and testing practices
• Experience working with REST APIs and/or GraphQL
• Knowledge of modern React Native application architecture and state management approaches such as Redux, MobX or equivalent
• Experience with automated testing frameworks such as Jest, Detox and Testing Library
• Strong debugging and problem-solving skills
• Experience working with large or evolving applications and contributing to their ongoing improvement
• Understanding of CI/CD practices and modern software delivery approaches
• Passion for writing secure, maintainable and well-tested code
• A collaborative mindset and ability to work effectively within cross-functional Agile teams
• Eagerness to learn, grow and continuously improve as an engineer

Nice to have

• Experience with React for web applications
• Experience with React Native New Architecture (Fabric, TurboModules and JSI)
• Experience developing native mobile applications using Swift (iOS) and/or Kotlin (Android)
• Experience publishing and maintaining applications in the Apple App Store and Google Play Store
• Familiarity with mobile analytics, crash reporting and performance monitoring tools
• Experience working in regulated industries such as financial services
