Software Engineer (React)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain high-quality, scalable serverless web applications using frameworks like Next.js.
  • Ensure code quality with clean, maintainable code focusing on performance, security, scalability, and reliability. Use version control and branching strategies effectively.
  • Execute software solutions, troubleshoot, and think beyond routine approaches to resolve technical challenges.
  • Leverage AWS services such as Lambda, DynamoDB, and S3 to build efficient, cost-effective, and scalable solutions. Opportunities to gain AWS certification during probation.
  • Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers to define and implement new features. Participate actively in technical discussions.
  • Develop and consume RESTful APIs and integrate third-party services.
  • Stay updated with industry trends, technologies, and best practices to improve products and processes.
  • Contribute to engineering communities and share knowledge.
  • Mentor and develop team members.

Skills, Knowledge, and Expertise:

  • Significant and proven commercial software engineering experience.
  • Experience with TypeScript, React (preferably Next.js), and related front-end technologies.
  • Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Experience developing and consuming RESTful APIs.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Effective communication and ability to work under deadlines.
  • Passion for learning and evolving technologies.
  • Familiarity with Agile practices and tools.
  • Beneficial: working knowledge of AWS.
