Job summary

A technology solutions provider in the United Kingdom seeks a candidate to support client projects by identifying development risks, managing AWS GPU resources, and committing code with clear documentation. The role requires strong Python and Git skills, with knowledge of Tensorflow or PyTorch preferred. The candidate will participate in team meetings and support technical presentations while working closely with the client team.

Job description

Support the client in identifying development risks and mitigation strategies.

Review literature for alternative model architectures or potential solutions.

Commit code with clear documentation to git repositories on a semi-daily basis.

Participate in weekly team meetings and be available on Slack or Zoom to maintain contact and collaborate with the client team during times of overlap with PST.

Provide support to the client's presentations on technical subjects, work status, and recommendations.

Manage AWS (or on-site) GPU resources.

Support the client in producing the required milestone deliverables for stakeholders.

Above activities shall be performed pursuant to the client's instructions, requirements, and specifications.

Required Skills:
  • Python (pip install packages for custom environment)
  • Git (Clone a repo, commit some code)
  • GPU (Have access to and know how to run code with GPU)
  • AWS (Familiar with instance creation, alarm management, data transfers from S3 bucket)
  • Tensorflow and/or PyTorch
Desired Skills:
  • Video/Image processing
  • Machine Learning experience (training models, adjusting hyperparameters, validate, test)
