Position: Software Engineer, Pricing and Channel Management

We’re entering an exciting new phase of our tech and product strategy, focusing on innovation, experimentation, and conversion. Our mission is to enhance the web and mobile experience for our guests and owners, ensuring seamless journeys across all our group companies.

What will your role be?

Joining our engineering teams, you’ll be part of a culture centered on delivering results. We work in small, autonomous teams with ownership of their products, using a cutting-edge stack in a meritocracy that values the best ideas. Reliability is critical, and DevOps practices are integrated into every engineer’s role.

Day-to-day responsibilities include:

1. Working as part of a full-stack product team to develop innovative solutions that enhance experiences for our guests and owners.
2. Collaborating with engineers and data scientists to optimize pricing strategies for our customers and business.
3. Shaping the architecture and tech strategy for the pricing and channel management platform, choosing the right technologies for each task.
4. Promoting best engineering practices such as CI/CD, TDD, cloud architecture, and pair programming.
5. Engaging actively with the engineering and wider tech community within Awaze.

Who are you?

The pricing and channel management team is in a phase of innovation and growth, requiring strong technical support. The team manages most of the pricing lifecycle at Awaze, from estimating prices for new properties to annual adjustments and managing third-party downstream channels.

We seek an experienced Engineer (backend/infrastructure focused) with skills in:

• AWS
• Server-side development
• Relational databases
• Non-relational databases
• Containerization technologies
• Modern quality practices
