Software Engineer, OS Frameworks (Android) Responsibilities:

1. Directly contribute to experiments, including designing experimental details, writing reusable code, running evaluations, and organizing results

2. Contribute to publications and open-sourcing efforts

3. Work with a large team

4. Help identify long-term ambitious research goals as well as intermediate milestones

5. Prioritize research that can be applied to Meta's product development

6. Mentor other team members. Play a significant role in healthy cross-functional collaboration

Minimum Qualifications:

1. Bachelor degree or equivalent experience in the field of Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a similar field

2. Experience with Android Frameworks/ OS, macOS, or Windows internals or frameworks services

3. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, relevant technical field, or equivalent practical experience

4. 5+ years of Software development experience

5. 3+ years of experience in developing any of the following: Desktop applications, Operating Systems, AOSP, Identity, Device management on iOS/Android, Device Security, Android Enterprise

6. Experience with coding in C++ and Java or Kotlin

1. Experience developing software for Mobile platforms (Android/iOS)

2. Experience with Android performance tools and security models

3. Experience with Android UI frameworks and services
