Software Engineer (.Net 8/Azure) - Greater Manchester

Location: Cheshire / Remote (1st)

Salary: £50,000 Basic + £5,000 Bonus

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Software Engineer with experience in .Net 8 and Azure to join a stable, large company undergoing a significant digital transformation. The role involves working on greenfield projects primarily focused on Back-End development using advanced technologies such as CosmosDB, Microservices, Docker, Kubernetes, and Azure Cloud services.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain scalable backend applications using .Net 8 and Azure technologies.
• Work with microservices architecture, Docker, Kubernetes, and related tools.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines and follow best practices in TDD, unit testing, and code analysis.
• Participate in a dynamic digital transformation across retail, healthcare, and sustainability sectors.

Requirements:

• Experience with Azure cloud or other cloud platforms.
• Proficiency in modern .Net 8 / C#.
• Knowledge of CI/CD processes.
• Experience with microservice architecture.
• Skills in NoSQL databases such as CosmosDB or MongoDB.
• Ability to commute to Cheshire or be located nearby for occasional meetups.
