Job summary

Caristo Diagnostics in Oxford, UK is hiring a Graduate/Junior Software Engineer to join its rapidly growing engineering team. You will help develop the end-to-end software system behind CaRi-Heart, writing code, debugging issues and taking ownership of project areas.

The role offers exposure to cloud-based medical imaging software, collaboration with operations, clinicians and researchers, and opportunities for growth in a healthcare startup at the forefront of AI-driven cardiovascular care.

Qualifications

• BSc/BEng degree in a related technical discipline or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience in Python programming or equivalent language
• Experience of working with IDE, source control systems, issue tracking systems and build systems.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Responsibilities

• Development and maintenance of cloud-based medical imaging software system
• Engagement with internal and external stakeholders and users to deliver effective solutions
• Provide installation and technical support for Operations and customers
• Development and maintenance of a CI/CD pipeline, including test automation
• Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and identify potential issues
• Collaboration with engineering team, operations, research and image analysts
• Documenting code, systems, and processes in line with Caristo quality system
• Actively contribute to process improvement and quality objectives
