Job summary

Permanent Futures Limited in Sheffield is seeking a Senior Software Engineer with LabVIEW development experience to work on R&D projects. You will design, implement and document robust software solutions using LabVIEW and TestStand, and collaborate with customers to define requirements.

The role requires strong OO programming skills, a formal engineering qualification, and the ability to participate in design reviews and system integration.

Qualifications

• LabVIEW & TestStand experience (CLD minimum desirable).
• Knowledge of PXI, CompactRIO, PC, and FPGA.
• Some electronic hardware design experience preferred.
• A formal qualification in engineering design (degree or equivalent).
