Job summary

Infinitesima in Abingdon, UK is seeking a Senior LabVIEW Software Engineer to develop software behind precision measurement systems. You will work at the intersection of software, electronics, control systems and physics to acquire, process and analyse data in real time.

You will design LabVIEW Real-Time applications, implement FPGA functionality with LabVIEW FPGA and NI hardware, and collaborate with physicists and R&D teams to turn concepts into production-ready software.

Qualifications

Experience developing LabVIEW Real-Time software for data acquisition and control.
Strong background in FPGA-based hardware integration and NI PXI platforms.
Familiar with high-speed data processing and real-time systems.
Proven ability to design robust software architectures and maintainable code.
Experience with version control and code reviews (Git).

Responsibilities

Develop LabVIEW Real-Time software for data acquisition and hardware communication.
Build and enhance FPGA functionality using LabVIEW FPGA and NI platforms.
Create high-speed data processing pipelines and control algorithms.
Ensure robust communication between FPGA and Real-Time environments.
Collaborate with scientists and R&D to translate concepts into production software.
Participate in tests, CI, and automated testing.
