Electronic Arts in Birmingham is offering a Software Engineer - Tool Intern placement. You will join our Tooling team to deliver high-performing tools for internal content creation and workflows.

You'll work hybrid, spend time with experienced engineers, designers, artists and producers, and gain hands-on experience on a major racing game project while completing a 12-month full-time internship starting July 2027.

Qualifications

• Penultimate-year undergraduate student in a related discipline.
• Able to commence a full-time, 12-month placement in July 2027.
• Eligible to work in the UK without visa/relocation support.
• Willing to work a hybrid role with at least 3 days onsite.

Responsibilities

• Join the Tool Intern team to deliver high-performing tools for internal content creators.
• Work in our Birmingham, UK studio in a hybrid in-office position.
• Collaborate with designers, artists and producers to improve tool workflows.
