SailPoint is seeking an Software Engineer Intern to join our SaaS/Cloud Engineering group, advancing the Policy Engine and foundational features for the Identity Security Cloud platform. You will work with tenured engineers in a fast-paced Agile environment and gain exposure to industry best practices and a collaborative culture.

The internship runs from 28 June 2027 to 3 September 2027, with the first 3 days in our London office and a mid-internship offsite.

Formación

• Proficient in at least one programming language (Golang, TypeScript, or equivalent).
• Strong foundations in data structures and algorithms.
• Able to solve problems and deliver robust software solutions.
• Pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in CS/EE/MIS or related field.

As a Software Engineer Intern, you will work with tenured engineers in the Platform Engines group working on foundational features such as the Policy Engine.

You will encounter a variety of technical challenges that will refine your problem-solving skills and work with a wide range of established and emerging technologies.

In our small, Agile engineering teams, you will collaborate with cross-functional team members to shape the future of our products. Responsibilities

• Collaborate to develop the Policy Engine for the Identity Security Cloud SaaS access governance solution

• Implement software and procedures that provide value to the SailPoint team and our customers

• Work with software and quality assurance engineers, technical writers and product managers to help deliver elegant software solutions

• Learn about Agentic, Agile, Angular, AWS, Docker, Golang, Jenkins, Kafka, Kubernetes, Playwright, REST, Scrum, Snowflake, SQL, Temporal, and others!

Requirements

• Demonstrable knowledge of a programming language (e.g. Golang, TypeScript, or equivalent)

• Good understanding of computer science fundamentals, data structures and algorithms

• Good problem-solving skills

• An interest and aptitude for delivering sophisticated and robust product, tool and test solutions

• Working towards a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in CS/EE/MIS or related field

Education

• Undergraduate at least one year into degree course
