Job summary

SailPoint is seeking talented University students for internship within our SaaS/Cloud Engineering organization in London. You will work with tenured engineers on the Policy Engine and related features in our Identity Security Cloud platform.

You will learn from agile teams, tackle a variety of technical challenges, and contribute to high-visibility projects while gaining hands-on experience in a fast-paced, supportive environment.

Qualifications

• Demonstrable knowledge of a programming language (e.g. Golang, TypeScript, or equivalent).
• Good understanding of CS fundamentals, data structures and algorithms.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a passion for building robust software.
• Pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in CS/EE/MIS or related field.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate to develop the Policy Engine for the Identity Security Cloud SaaS access governance solution.
• Implement software and procedures that provide value to SailPoint and customers.
• Collaborate with software engineers, QA, technical writers and product managers to deliver elegant software solutions.
• Engage with a range of technologies and Agile teams to shape product direction.

The first 3 days of your internship will be held in-person at our office in London.

2 day in-person offsite mid-internship.

• Work with software and quality assurance engineers, technical writers and product managers to help deliver elegant software solutions
• Learn about Agentic, Agile, Angular, AWS, Docker, Golang, Jenkins, Kafka, Kubernetes, Playwright, REST, Scrum, Snowflake, SQL, Temporal, and others!

Requirements

• Demonstrable knowledge of a programming language (e.g. Golang, TypeScript, or equivalent)
• Good understanding of computer science fundamentals, data structures and algorithms
• Good problem-solving skills
• An interest and aptitude for delivering sophisticated and robust product, tool and test solutions
• Working towards a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in CS/EE/MIS or related field
