Job summary

Figma is seeking software engineering interns to join small, collaborative teams at our London Hub. You will work on projects with a mentor, contribute to features, tests, or infrastructure, and ship your project by the end of your internship.

This hands-on program pairs you with teams aligned to your skills and interests across product and platform areas. You will gain exposure to full-stack or infrastructure work, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and learn in a supportive environment

Qualifications

• Experience writing clean code in at least one general-purpose language (e.g. C++, JavaScript, Python, Java).
• Experience solving technical problems through school, work, or personal projects.
• Experience using AI-assisted development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, Claude) to write, debug, and optimize code.
• Demonstrated curiosity about how systems are designed and operate, from infrastructure to UI.
• Strong communicator who collaborates well with others and is eager to learn and grow as an engineer.

Responsibilities

• Join a small engineering team as a full member with your own project and mentor.
• Contribute to projects that align with team goals and impact.
• Collaborate with engineers, PMs, designers, and QA to plan timelines.
