Integration Developer

Staines (TW18 3DZ), 1 day a week in Office

Flexible / Hybrid working options (i.e up to 3 days WFH)

Permanent

Ranging £55,000 to £60,000 + fantastic benefits (depending on exp. & location).

Full time 37.5 hours

Responsibilities

The Integration Developer role encompasses a variety of technology-focused positions within Bupa Group Technology and Information Services. The specific department and responsibilities of a software engineer may differ. The role will involve:

  1. Conducting technical analysis, specification, and estimation
  2. Designing, developing, implementing, and supporting software solutions
  3. Collaborating with business users, third parties, and GTIS colleagues as needed
How You’ll Help Us Make Health Happen

You will serve as the technical authority within your domain, whether it is application or technology specific. Your responsibilities will include:

  1. Assessing and validating technical solutions, designs, and proofs of concept to ensure they are fit for purpose.
  2. Developing and adhering to application delivery design standards, development methodologies, and strategic architecture frameworks.
  3. Providing input to Infrastructure Design teams regarding overall solution design.
  4. Ensuring the quality of all deliverables related to software within your domain.
  5. Staying current with emerging technologies and seeking ways to integrate them for the benefit of the business.
  6. Understanding business objectives and continuously seeking ways to improve operations, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness.
  7. Developing and implementing strategies to migrate on-premise solutions to the cloud.
  8. Supporting configuration and production teams with release management for application deployment and providing warranty go-live support.

Experience in multiple service delivery functions, including development, support, software design, or environment configuration. Must possess knowledge and experience in the following technologies:
