As a Salesforce Engineer at Nutmeg within the International Consumer Bank of JPMorgan Chase, your responsibilities will include helping shape platforms for our Customer Service, Marketing, and Operations teams. You will develop standalone products on Salesforce and integrate with Nutmeg services to enhance customer and colleague experiences.

Our Salesforce team focuses on transforming innovative ideas into customer solutions. We seek curious, collaborative, and tech-passionate individuals who are solution-oriented, commercially savvy, and interested in fintech.

Job responsibilities:

  • Develop services like referral & promo systems, automation/alerts, email services, and custom Lightning & Visualforce pages.
  • Create products across Salesforce systems including Service & Sales Clouds and Marketing Cloud.
  • Utilize external applications such as Salesforce scheduler, milestones, forecasting, Amazon Connect, and backup solutions.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:

  • Certified Salesforce developer (minimum Platform Developer 1).
  • Experience with Apex & Visualforce.
  • Proficiency in SOQL/SOSL/DML operations and query optimization.
  • Experience with REST integrations.
  • Knowledge of testing methodologies, including TDD for unit and integration testing.
  • Experience working in Agile environments (Scrum/Kanban).
  • Familiarity with migration tools.
  • Experience with Lightning Web Components.
  • Understanding of clean architecture in OOP.
  • Passion for writing clean, maintainable, and testable code.

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills:

  • Multiple Salesforce certifications.
  • Hands-on experience with integrations (e.g., APIs, Amazon Connect).
  • Experience with relational databases like MySQL, Postgres, or Oracle.
  • Understanding of CI/CD principles and automated testing.
  • Experience with Marketing Cloud.
  • Knowledge of different integration patterns.
