JPMorganChase in London is seeking a Software Engineer II to join the Securities Services Analytics Technology team. You will work as a seasoned member of an agile group to design and deliver trusted data-driven software solutions across the full development lifecycle.

The role emphasizes secure, scalable production code, collaboration with Quantitative Research and tech partners, and hands-on work with Python and React/TypeScript on the Athena platform.

Competenze

• Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and applied experience
• Strong analytical development skills and solid understanding of computer science fundamentals
• Proficient in coding in Python and React/TypeScript
• Experience in developing, debugging, and maintaining code in a large corporate environment with one or more modern programming languages
• Overall knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle
• Solid understanding of agile methodologies such as CI/CD, Scrum, Application Resiliency, and Security
• Team-working attitude to build, deliver and collaborate in a global development team
