Job summary

JPMorganChase in London is seeking a Software Engineer III to join the Infrastructure Platforms, Data Center Services team. You will design, develop, and deliver full-stack solutions across frontend (React) and backend (Node.js/TypeScript, Python) services in a secure, scalable environment.

As a seasoned member of an agile team, you will mentor juniors, contribute to architecture, and apply enterprise AI-assisted tooling while ensuring code quality, testing, and operational stability.

Qualifications

• Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts.
• Hands-on experience with system design, application development, testing, and operational stability.
• Strong experience in JavaScript/TypeScript (React, Node.js).
• Experience building and maintaining code in large-scale environments using modern languages and databases.
• Familiarity with agile methodologies, CI/CD, resiliency, and security practices.
• Knowledge of software processes in cloud, AI/ML, or mobile contexts.
• Experience with AI-assisted software development tools and validating AI outputs.
• Understanding of responsible AI use in engineering workflows.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deliver full-stack solutions across frontend (React) and backend (Node.js/TypeScript, Python).
• Create secure, high-quality production code with reliable algorithms.
• Produce architecture and design artifacts for complex components while meeting constraints.
• Analyze large data sets and develop visualizations to improve software applications.
• Identify data patterns to drive improvements in code and architecture.
• Develop domain expertise in Data Center Services areas (UI/UX, backend, tooling, testing).
• Contribute to engineering communities and mentor junior engineers.
• Leverage enterprise AI coding assist tools and validate outputs via peer review and testing.
• Utilize SDLC tools and AI-assisted development to improve automation and value.
