Job summary

Everfox UK in Malvern is seeking a Graduate or Junior Software Engineer to join its UK development team. You will work on cybersecurity software and contribute from day one, learning from experienced engineers.

You’ll develop in C++, Go, C# or similar languages, with a focus on quality code, testing, and documentation in an agile environment. The role is hybrid with on-site days in the Malvern office.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field (e.g., Computer Science, Software Engineering, CS/Engineering, Math, Physics) required.
• Recent graduate (within 2 years) or 1–2 years in a junior software role.
• Experience in programming and a basic understanding of Linux.
• Interest or domain knowledge in application security.
• Proficiency in C++, Go, C# or similar languages; ability to learn.
• Strong problem solving and analytical skills; good written and verbal communication.

About the Role

We are looking for a Graduate or Junior Software Engineer to join the Everfox UK development team. Applicants should either have received a degree in the last two years or have held a Junior Software Developer position for a maximum of 1-2 years. As a Graduate or Junior Software Engineer, you'll join a talented UK development team where you'll work on challenging technical problems and write cybersecurity solutions software for the organizations that depend on them. You will learn from experienced engineers, and have the opportunity to make a real contribution from day one. You will demonstrate an ability to work independently as you build confidence.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop software using C++, GO, C# or C like languages
• Write high quality code following our agile-based development methodology and our chosen toolset.
• Test software both formally and ad-hoc.
• Produce documentation using industry-standard tools.
• Work within a closely-knit team.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in a STEM discipline, such as Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or a related technical field.
• Recent graduate (within the last two years) or 1-2 years of experience in a Junior Software Engineering/Software Development role.
• Experience of programming
• Domain knowledge of, or an interest in, application security.

Salary & Benefits

A reasonable estimate of the base salary range for this role is: £45,000.00-65,000.00 GBP The actual salary offered may vary within the range based on a candidates' unique experience, locale, and business needs.
