Job Title: Software Engineer / Developer (Full Stack Python API React) - Cambridge / WFH to £60k+

Job Description:

Join an AI start-up that is innovating within the NHS and health tech sector, improving healthcare delivery for professionals and patients alike. As a founding member, you will design and develop scalable solutions for the AI-driven platform, from concept to production, enhancing both front-end and back-end systems.

Your responsibilities will include developing responsive interfaces with React.js, leading backend development with Python and FastAPI, implementing DevOps practices, managing deployments on Azure, and maintaining robust data systems using PostgreSQL.

Location / WFH:

Based in Central Cambridge, with a flexible schedule of three days in the office and two days remote.

About You:
  • Strong knowledge of PostgreSQL, database design, and optimization
  • Experience with DevOps, CI/CD, Git, GitHub, and Azure cloud services
  • Autonomous worker who enjoys taking ownership and making architectural decisions
  • Collaborative with excellent communication skills
