Software Engineer - Expand Tribe, London

Location: Hybrid, 2 days a week on site in our London office

We're hiring for a Software Engineer to join an exciting greenfield project within our Expand tribe, which focuses on our international expansion plans. This is a wonderful opportunity to leverage your deep technical expertise to help shape the next generation of Gousto's digital experience.

This role offers flexibility, allowing you to work where you feel most inspired and effective, whether at home or in our London, Shepherds Bush office. We value in-person collaboration and invite team members to join us in the office twice a week for cross-team connections, all-hands gatherings, and technical leadership.

Core Responsibilities

• Implement high-quality, scalable, and efficient user experiences in a modular, test-driven environment, focusing on performance, security, and maintainability
• Prioritize quality and performance of customer-facing interfaces
• Collaborate with engineers and non-technical team members
• Mentor junior team members to help them grow their skills and responsibilities

Who You Are

• Experience building performant, responsive, and secure applications (any programming language or technology)
• Understanding of modern architectural patterns and design systems
• Excellent collaboration skills with team members and stakeholders
• Exposure to CI/CD tools for responsible application deployment
