SOFTWARE ENGINEER ROLE

As a Software Engineer, you will contribute to the innovation and development of secure, high-quality software solutions that support national defence missions. You’ll be involved in all phases of delivery — from R&D through to client engagement — and have the opportunity to coach junior engineers and support technical bids. The role offers a blend of Linux/Windows development, use of modern libraries and tools, and solving complex real-world challenges in a fast-moving environment.

SOFTWARE ENGINEER ESSENTIAL SKILLS

• Strong proficiency in C++ or Python
• Experience with modern libraries such as STL, Apache NiFi
• Linux and/or Windows development experience
• Understanding of networking fundamentals
• Proven problem-solving ability and willingness to adopt new technologies
• Exposure to scripting languages (e.g. Bash, Node.js, Ruby)
