Software Engineer - DV Cleared

• Salary: £55,000 - £70,000
• Location: Cheltenham, UK
• Clearance: Must hold enhanced DV / UKIC Clearance (West)

Responsibilities:

• Actively contribute to hands-on development, including maintaining the codebase and participating in peer code reviews.
• Design software features in alignment with the product roadmap, clearly articulating design decisions.
• Help decompose larger initiatives into well-defined, manageable tasks suitable for Agile delivery.
• Assist in the setup and maintenance of continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
• Deliver demonstrations of development progress to both internal stakeholders and external customers.

Required Experience:

• Hands on experience of developing software in Java, JavaScript or Python
• Understanding of Cloud-based architectures in AWS or Azure
• Use of DevOps Automated Deployment tools such as Jenkins, Gitlab, Docker, OpenShift or Kubernetes
• Understanding of database technologies such as SQL, Elasticsearch or MongoDB
