Oho Group is seeking a Software Engineer in London to join an early-stage defence start-up building mission-critical systems with end-to-end ownership. You’ll work across backend, infrastructure, data, and automation, writing code in Python, TypeScript, Rust, Go, Java, or C++.

With 4+ years of professional experience, you’ll tackle challenging engineering problems, enjoy high autonomy, and have a real-world impact in defence and security tech.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of professional software development experience.
• Proficient in Python, TypeScript, Rust, Go, Java, or C++.
• A generalist capable across backend, infrastructure, data and automation.
• Thrives in fast-paced, high-autonomy environments.
• Interest in defence, aerospace, or national security tech; start-up experience a plus.
• Experience in robotics, embedded systems, ML, or real-time systems.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end ownership of mission-critical systems.
• Collaborate across a small engineering team to design, build and deploy core technology.
