Job summary

the company is seeking a Software Engineer for the Data Platforms Team to design and deliver components of the ATLAS suite and related systems. You will enable race engineers and strategists to access insights from telemetry data and real-time analytics, contributing to scalable data streaming, aggregation, and visualization.

Qualifications

• First class degree or upper 2nd in Computer Science or similar technical field
• Thorough understanding of Software Engineering principles
• Proficiency in C# .NET with WPF experience
• Experience using SQL
• Experience using Git version control with development and release branching
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, preferably Azure DevOps
• Good understanding and practice of Agile project management frameworks
• Ability to work both as part of a team and individually

Responsibilities

• Developing and maintaining the ATLAS software suite
• Collaborate with Product Managers and Field Application Engineers
• Analyse user requirements for validity and feasibility
• Detect, document and track software defects
• Apply QA principles throughout the Agile product lifecycle
• Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities
• Meet or exceed unit test coverage
• Support pull requests and peer reviews
• Contribute to release planning and estimates
• Write technical documentation
• Escalate risks when required
