What you'll do:

As a Software Engineer - Data & Analytics Applications, you’ll play a key role in designing, developing, and delivering robust applications that power Fitch’s global operations. You’ll work across Java, Python, and React, contributing to both frontend and backend systems with a strong focus on data migration, system architecture, and scalability. Other responsibilities include:

• Develop and maintain full-stack applications using Java, React, and Python
• Lead and contribute to data migration and integration projects
• Ensure solutions are robust, maintainable, and scalable
• Collaborate with cross-functional Agile teams
• Participate in architecture and design discussions
• Drive multiple projects, ensuring delivery on time and within scope
• Contribute to continuous improvement of development standards and practices

What you bring:

• 5+ years of experience in software engineering
• Strong proficiency in Java, Python, and React
• Experience with PostgreSQL, Oracle, and MongoDB
• Knowledge of DevOps tools (Docker, Kubernetes) and cloud platforms (AWS or Azure)
• Solid understanding of microservices architecture
• Strong experience in relational database design and real-time data systems
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
• Team-oriented mindset with a collaborative attitude
• Ability to explain and defend technical decisions
• Interest in Financial Services and a commitment to fostering an inclusive work environment
